Sanchi is a small town located in the Raisen District in Madhya Pradesh. It is also known as the stupa village situated 45 kms from the capital city of Bhopal. Situated on a hill top Sanchi is worldwide famed for its Buddhist Monuments embracing some of the oldest stone structures in India.
