Located in Kumaun region of Uttarakhand state, Golu Chitai Temple is dedicated to Golu Devta - an avatar of Lord Shiva. Though there are many temples of Golu Devta in Almora but this temple is most sacred one. Situated 8 KMs from Almora, this temple is reputed to make wishes come true. This temple is 4Km away from main gate of Binsar wildlife sanctuary and 10 KM from Almora.
