Located in Kodaikanal, Green Valley View point offers panoramic view of valleys, hills, plains and Vaigai Dam – which makes this place worth remembering. With vertical drop of 1500 meters, it is renowned for its enroute fun and visitors can walk through panoramic walks and woodlands to reach here. The deep, terrifying and hollow valley below the point is above 5000 feet drop.

Green Valley View is formerly known as Suicide Point due to large number of suicides committed here. However, it was later that name was modified due to negative effects of its vicinity. This place has umpteen numbers of monkeys, so visitors are advised to take care of their belongings. While going to this point, there are many shops on the way selling homemade ornaments, chocolates, wide range of flowers.

The best time to visit Green Valley View is between 10 AM and 3 PM to catch an amazing view, before this time valley would be covered with fog.
