Chitrakoot district in Uttar Pradesh is considered to be one of the sacred destinations in the state. At regular intervals, you come across temples and other religiously significant sites. One such location is Hanuman Dhara. It draws a huge number of devotees and is located approximately 3 kilometers from Ramghat (which is considered the hub of the main town in this area).

Because of a flowing stream that runs over the statue of Lord Hanuman, this location is known as Hanuman Dhara. This is possibly the most gorgeous sight that worshippers have ever seen. The red stone marble statue of Bajrang Bali (another name for Lord Hanuman) was erected. Finally, Lord Rama was the one who was able to calm him down. Lord Hanuman then took a bath in the stream of water that came down from above, cooling him from the inside out.

The temple may be reached through a flight of stairs. Several sculptures of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, and Lord Laxmana may be found along the road. You are rewarded to magnificent views of the surrounds as you reach the summit. Inside the temple, there is also a tiny building known as Sita Rasoi. This is also a popular tourist site in the area.
