Janki Kund (a tiny pond or reservoir) lies about 2 kilometers from Ram Ghat, another well-known Chitrakoot tourist destination. Chitrakoot has no airport of its own. To get there by air, you'll need to fly through Bamrauli Airport, which is located in Prayagraj (Allahabad). This is the closest airport, which is around 116 kilometers away. You can take a taxi or any other private car to get to Chitrakoot after you arrive at the airport. It should take you roughly 3 hours to complete the journey.
By Road
Varanasi (246 km), Vindhyachal (171 km), Prayagraj (Allahabad) (115 km), and Ayodhya are all within a short distance of Chitrakoot (270 km). The highway 35 connects it to these cities.
