Located 65 KM from Coimbatore, Monkey Falls is a magnificent falls surrounded by rocky cliffs and evergreen forests. Due to its mesmerizing scenic views, it has become a popular spot among travelers. With the height of 60 feet, it is situated between Valparai and Pollachi near Aliyar Dam. It is an amazing place in Valparai mountain ranges and has green surrounding. Lies around 2 KMs from Pollachi-Valparai route, adults and little children can take bath in it.

Monkey Falls attracts many visitors from around the country during weekends. The forest authorities here hold treks for visitors and prior request is required to be given to the Tamil Nadu Forest Department. To reach here, trekkers have to cross rocky cliffs and dark forests. Additionally, to spread awareness about nature and environment among tourists, there is a Greenish trekking as well.

There is an entry fee of 20Rs to enter inside the Monkey Falls vicinity. The best time to visit this place is between October and March. Being a popular place, it is usually crowded on weekends. The few things to be aware of here are monkeys and waterfall as some places near waterfall can be slippery. It is open all days of the week from 9 AM - 6 PM.
