Pandoh Dam is an embankment dam that was built on the Beas River in Mandi, Himanchal. Built in 1977, the water of the dam is used for hydroelectric power generation. Located 10 km away from Manali, this 38 Km long dam is set up in the beautiful location of Himanchal Pradesh. The dam generates 1,000 MW Electricity and it’s controlled by the Bhakra Beas Management Board.
