Located in Kodaikanal and around 8 KM away from Kodaikanal Lake, Pillar Rocks encompasses of three granite boulders. All the boulders reach the height of 400 feet which makes exquisite picnic spot. There is chamber between these pillars which is known as Devil’s Kitchen. It is best place for photography as scenery around is breathtaking. The best time to visit Pillar Rocks is from April-June, September and October. It stays open from Monday to Sunday from 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM. To get dazzling views of surrounding, one can hire binoculars and telescopes from hawkers.
