Rock Garden is a famous Sculpture garden in Chandigarh which is also known as Nek Chand's Rock Garden. This garden is spread at an area of 40 acres and was founded by Nek Chand. It’s is made by the home waste like Bottle, Bangles, Tiles, Sinks etc. Nek Chand started to build this garden in his spare time in 1957 and hid it for 18 years from the local people.

It was discovered in 1975 by the authorities. This garden is a wonderful museum of manmade creativity and imagination.It’s also known for its unique human sculpture that’s made by the glass bangles and clay. This garden has more than 2000 sculptures that attract many tourists from all over the world. Each Sculpture is beautifully decoration with home waste material. Many consider the garden a modern wonder of the world.

Rock Garden is situated near Sukhna Lake and interlinked with manmade waterfall and many other beautiful sculptures. Opened for public in 1976, it’s now used for meditation, yoga and other sports activities. This place looks beautiful in the season of Monsoon where tourists can enjoy the beauty of the nature.  This garden also inspires young children for its unique creativity.
