Soochipara Falls also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls is one the mesmerizing tourists spots in the popular district of Wayanad in Kerala. It is a three-tiered waterfall in the village of Vellarimala. It is the second highest waterfall in the Wayanad district with a fall of 200 meters high.

The waterfall at the end joins the Chaliyar River crossing the Vellarimala hills. It is surrounded all around by lush green dense forests. The slopy hill of the waterfall is even considered for rock climbing by adventure lovers. It is a spectacular sight to see the water gushing down robustly from a height of 660 feet.

Visitors need to go for a 15-20 minutes trek to reach the waterfall. One can also have the pleasure of walking into the nearby tea gardens. Some of the tourists even stay in the guesthouses or homestays available close to the waterfall, to spend some relaxing time in the lap of nature. There is also a hut built at a tree top much like a mini tree house offering a panoramic view of the overall valley.

Soochipara Falls has a good connectivity via road to all major cities of South India. The nearest railway station is Calicut International Airport which is 47 kms away. Kozhikode is the nearest railway station lying 75 kms away.
