After a leisurely breakfast, explore the red sandstone AGRA FORT, which is shaped like a crescent on the banks of the Yamuna River and is surrounded by formidable 20-meter high walls with a 12-meter moat in between. Three Mughal rulers — Akbar, Jehangir, and Shah Jehan – were instrumental in the construction of this huge edifice, which combines Hindu and Muslim design. Check out from the hotel. After lunch, drive 220 kilometers (4 hours drive) to New Delhi. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay. |

Dinner and overnight stay at the resort. Kanha's sal and bamboo forests, undulating grasslands, and flowing streams cover 940 square kilometers and comprise the heart of the Kanha Tiger Reserve, which was established in 1974 as part of Project Tiger. The park is the only place where the rare hardground Barasingha may be found (Cervus Duvaceli Branderi). |
Day 05 | Kanha National Park | Wake up at 0500 hours, have a cup of tea or coffee with some biscuits, and head to the National Park for a morning safari. Continue your search for the rare Tiger if you haven't already seen one, and take in the fresh, energetic atmosphere. Around 1130 hours, return from Safari. Lunch will be served when you have freshened up. Because the national park is closed for afternoon safari today, we'll take you on a nature walk in the buffer forest. This is a 7-kilometer trek in the wilderness along a river. It's also good for birding and mammal watching. If you want to, you can go for a brief walk as well. Return from your walk at 5 p.m. If you don't want to go, we can go to a nearby tribal hamlet to see how they live. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge. |

Later in the day, take a city tour of Khajuraho. The Khajuraho temple complex, which celebrates Hindu religious thinking in all of its baffling variety of breadth and inclusivity, stands out among Hindu temples. The temples emphasize religion's existential ethos, which reveres "Yoga" and "Bhoga." Yoga is the connection of the self with the Almighty, whereas Bhoga is the bodily pleasure-based path to God. This ideology may be seen in the temples of Khajuraho, which are dedicated to sensual love and pleasure. Khajuraho was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986, and its temples are India's one-of-a-kind gift to the world, capturing life in all its forms and moods in stone. Khajuraho hosts an evening sound and light show. Overnight at the hotel in Khajuraho. |
Day 11 | Khajuraho – Varanasi | After breakfast, visit the temples in the Eastern and Southern groups. The Eastern group's Parasvanath temple is the group's largest Jain temple. The topics show everyday life in beautiful detail. Visit the Shiva-dedicated Kandariya Mahadev temple and the Chaturbhuj temple of the Southern group. Transfer to the airport in the afternoon to catch a flight to Varanasi. AI 405 (1515 / 1610 hours ) departs Khajuraho for Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi airport, you will be greeted and assisted, followed by a transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Varanasi. |
Day 12 | Varanasi | Early in the morning: Take a sunrise boat ride in India's holiest river, the Ganges. With pilgrims standing waist-deep in water, praying to the rising Sun, the sunrise at the sacred river is a really serene and breath-taking sight. See the famed Vishwanath temple, which is dedicated to Shiva, the city's patron deity, and has gold-covered spires. Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Visit Sarnath, a city in Uttar Pradesh, India, 13 kilometers north-east of Varanasi, near the confluence of the Ganges and the Gomati rivers. The Buddhist Sangha was founded in Sarnath's deer park, where Gautama Buddha first preached the Dharma and where Kondanna attained enlightenment. Shreyansanath, the eleventh Tirthankara of Jainism, was born in Singhpur, a village about one kilometer from the location, and there is a temple dedicated to him. Overnight stay at Varanasi. |
