How to reach Dandeli by Rail
There is no railway station in Dandeli but you can take a train to Paris, Alnavar, Dharwad or Hubli. You can take a taxi from here up to Dandeli. Take a train to Alnavar or Hubli if you're traveling from Bangalore and from Hyderabad you'll have to go to Londa. All who travel from Mumbai will take a train to Dharwad.

Dandeli is within easy reach by bus from most major cities in India. Tourists can find regular bus services to Dandeli from Bangalore , Hyderabad and most cities in South India, run by a private travel operator known as VRL travel. Traveling between Mumbai to Dandeli means taking a VRL bus to Dharwad after which taxis are available for getting to Dandeli. Alternatively, from Hubli to Dandeli, you can board a bus and this is a very convenient way to get around. The busses drop you off at the conveniently located Dandeli bus stop, and there are plenty of other nearby transport modes available to get around town easily.
