Kumbhalgarh, located in south of Rajasthan, is a historical town some 100 Km away of Udaipur. It has many impressive and grand forts and palaces that invite tourists from all parts of the globe. What sets Kumbhalgarh apart is it its showcasing of immaculately defensive fortification, which remains among the best in Rajasthan. Tourists flock here to relish the mesmerizing backdrop and beauty of historical assets, medieval monuments, grand forts and imposing palaces.

Attractions of Kumbhalgarh are many, though most of them are of historical nature. The most popular tourist place here is the Kumbhalgarh Fort, which is a 15th century structure, built by Maharana Kumbha. Featuring among the best forts in entire Rajasthan, it houses over 300 temples and many small and big palaces. The fort's wall stretches to a whopping 36 kilometers in length, which gives it an imposing nature.

The Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is another popular attraction here for tourists, especially for nature and bird-lovers. A wide variety of rare animal species reside here to make it truly a delight for animal enthusiast. The Muchchal Mahavir Temple is another place worth visiting here, which is situated right inside the Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary. The temple houses the image of Lord Mahavira and its gates are guarded by elephants.

Falna is the nearest railway station at 42 kms distance which connects major cities to   Kumbhalgarh.

Kumbhalgarh Fort
The Kumbhalgarh Fort is the second most important fort of Rajasthan and it was built in the 15th century by RanaKumbha. Kumbhalgarh is also the birthplace of MaharanaPratap who was a great king of Mewar. Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary
Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the famous sanctuaries of the West India which is located in Udaipur of Rajasthan State.  This Wildlife Sanctuary is spread on the area of 578 Km and is a major attraction for tourists.
